The Southwind National Night Out 2014 was a huge success for our neighborhood.  Approximately 100 or more residents attended, including many new neighbors who recently moved into Southwind. We enjoyed some delicious chili from our cookoff and topped it off with Kona Shaved Ice.  The kids enjoyed the bounce house obstacle course.  Our local code compliance officers and a police officer that has our neighborhood on his “beat” came by for a visit.  

 

We had 6 participants in our 1st annual Southwind Chili Cook Off.  Our winners were 1st place - Tim Dennis ($100 gift card),  2nd place - Justin Gustafson ($50 gift card), and 3rd place - Brandon Holland ($25 gift card). Thanks to all participants, tasters, and judges who made this innagural event a success.
